We live in a fast and furious time; an age of information. We are a community that will pursue formation by working together to become a community of consequence and substance. Through our rhythms of life together, our open-handed study of the way of Jesus, our devotion to those on the margins, and our commitment to live as bridges, we will live as people who have faith that matters.

In a time where we are more connected - yet lonelier - than ever, we will be a community of belonging: a place that you can discover others and become truly known. Jesus shows us that there is no better place for forming these relationships than over food. Good food and good conversation will be a part of our rhythmic life together. We will build spaces and tables that create authentic connection and room for the one left out.

We are a church for the people of downtown Durham. We are formed by the ways of Jesus who teaches us how to radically welcome those we are different than, to live with outlandish generosity, and to be a vital gift to our neighbors. We value equity over growth and people over profit. We are living that out by using our space to create a small business marketplace open throughout the week that will elevate local makers and artists in a high-rent district.
